In the Cumberland Gap region, rangers at Cumberland Gap National Historical Park as well as local state parks safeguard forests, wildlife, trails, and historic sites. The Cumberland Gap Trail Alliance supports these efforts by maintaining trails, assisting with conservation projects, and promoting responsible outdoor recreation—helping ensure the region’s natural landscapes and recreational opportunities are preserved for everyone.
