“Plant Identification While Hiking – Nature’s Gifts All Around”
Nature provides us with the most glorious and abundant 3-dimensional canvas of art. Surrounded by her sights and sounds, we are often overwhelmed at all there is to experience.
We’ve all been hiking and stopped to look at a flower, mushroom, or tree and wondered—what is that, and what can I learn from it?
In this engaging session, The Empirical Herbalist will guide us through identifying both common and lesser-known plants found across our mountains and valleys, while exploring what these plants offer to us and the natural world around us.
Whether you are a seasoned nature enthusiast or just beginning to explore the outdoors, there is something in this presentation for you.
• Held in the Visitor Center Auditorium
• Ample parking available on site
• Fully accessible facility (elevator + accessible restrooms)

This program invites you to slow down, look closer, and rediscover the quiet knowledge rooted in the natural world around us.
