In the Cumberland Gap region, diverse wildlife depends on connected forests, waterways, and natural corridors that span Tennessee, Kentucky, and Virginia. Through trail development, conservation partnerships, and responsible outdoor recreation, the Cumberland Gap Trail Alliance helps protect critical habitats, promote coexistence with wildlife, and raise awareness of the region’s rich natural heritage for future generations.
